A bit about us

We’re very fortunate to have found ourselves in the position whereby our passion has become our job. That passion is adventure, at its core, and the vehicle that facilitates these adventures is the bike. We love to pore over maps to find exciting places to go, creating routes on the roads less travelled to get there. You’ll know that feeling of finding a ‘new’ road and then taking friends with you to ride it - and they love it - and you know you’ve affected them in some small way.

Brought a bit of joy.

That really is what KOJO is about.

We want to take you to the places that we’ve found to be great for a proper adventure. Routes that challenge us, that hurt a little, but also uplift us. Rides you won’t forget too soon. We make sure you’re safe, we square away all the rough edges. We take the time to find the best hosts and guides in each country we go to, people who get it, so to speak. Nothing’s left to chance. Rider safety is paramount, and ‘rider joy’ is a very close second. We ride the routes ourselves to recce them to make sure they are up to scratch, and if they are, they are added to our calendar.

We’ve been there, done the hard work, sweated, grimaced… and loved it.

We left behind the normal to ride into the extraordinary, and we invite you to join us to do the same.

Judd (USA) developed his sense of adventure reading classics like The Adventures of Huck Finn, On the Road & The Heart of Darkness. Inspired, he hitchhiked around the USA after high school; biked through the backroads of Texas & hiked the Rocky Mountains. Restless from his travel bug, he joined the Coast Guard & sailed the Atlantic. He continues to get muddy & lost either riding his bike or running through forests & mountains. Very happy to be associated with the Collective, he is keen to expand KOJO’s portfilio in North America.
